Your Guide to Landing the Role: Hiring Tips & Process Insights

Recruiting Lifecycle At Eagle Hills:
  • Explore open jobs: Explore job opportunities by job title, profession, discipline, or location. If you don’t find one that interests you today, create an account and set up a job alert—we’ll notify you as soon as jobs matching your search criteria become available.
  • Submit application: When you find a role you’d like to apply for, simply click ‘Apply Now’ at the bottom of the job posting. You’ll be prompted to review or create your profile before proceeding to an application form with a few additional questions. Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll receive an email confirmation, and the application will appear in your profile.
  • Application review: After we’ve received your application, we’ll review it. You can check back in your profile to see the status of your applications.

The approach to selecting candidates for interviews may vary depending on the role and the number of applicants. In some cases, hiring teams may conduct a brief screening in addition to reviewing resumes to help narrow down the pool of candidates for interviews.

  • Interviews: If you advance in the process, the next interview steps will vary depending on the role you’re applying for. Be ready to showcase how you meet the job’s qualifications by providing specific examples from your experience or sharing ideas on how you would approach specific tasks. Highlight how the skills you’ve developed throughout your career align with the role. For some positions, you may be asked to present a creative portfolio, or share work samples in other formats.

Typically, you’ll meet with 3 to 4 individuals throughout the interviewing process, including line manager, potential teammates, and cross-functional colleagues, for up to 45 Minutes. These interviews may take place over the phone, via Teams, or in person. This is an opportunity for the hiring team to learn more about you and for you to learn about the team. After the interview, your recruiter will provide a timeline for when you can expect feedback on the hiring decision. Visit the Interview Tips page for additional preparation resources.

If you’re not selected for the role you interviewed for, we encourage you to continue exploring opportunities on Eagle Hills Careers Site. While this position may not have been the right fit, there could be other roles better suited to your skill set.

  • Offer: If you are selected for the role, the recruiting team will first call you to share the exciting news. Following the call, you’ll receive an email requesting important documents needed to prepare your offer. Once your offer is ready, your recruiting team will reach out via email to share the offer documentation for your review and signature. Your recruiter and/or hiring manager will connect with you to discuss the offer details and address any questions you may have.
  • Pre-onboard: After you accept your offer, our HR team will contact you to finalize your start date and assist with any necessary pre-hire activities.
  • Hired: We aim to ensure a seamless transition into your new role. Upon joining Eagle Hills, the HR Team will share your induction plan and will be available to support you with any questions you may have throughout the transition.
